    2 pounds 96% fat free ground beef
    2 onions, diced
    1-2 jalapeño peppers, diced
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes
    1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes and green chilies
    1 can (14 ounces tomato sauce)
    1 tablespoon cumin
    ¼ cup chili powder
    2 teaspoons oregano
    1 teaspoon black pepper
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    3 cans (15 ounces each) kidney beans drained and rinsed

    Recipe



    1. In a large skillet over medium heat cook ground beef, onion, jalapeño and garlic until beef is no longer pink. 2. Drain meat mixture and place in a 5-6 quart slow cooker on high heat. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder, oregano, black pepper and brown sugar and stir. Cover and cook for approximately 1 hour or until mixture is hot throughout. Stir in beans and reduce heat to low. Serve when warm throughout.
