2 cans chicken broth
4 cans water
½ bag dry navy beans
2 pkgs. ground turkey
6 chicken tenders
Green pepper
Onion
1 tbs. cumin
1 tbs. crushed red pepper
Corn starch
4 tbs. sour cream
Recipe
Cook navy beans (2-3 hours avg.) in chicken broth and water. Boil and dice chicken breast tenders. Sauté ground turkey in skillet with chopped green peppers and onions. Add cumin and crushed red pepper. Add ground turkey mixture and chicken to bean pot and stir. Use some of the pot water to add to cornstarch to thicken. Stir, bring to a boil, and then turn down to simmer. Add sour cream, then salt to taste.
