    500 g ground chicken 1 lb
    1 medium onion, chopped 1
    125 ml green pepper, chopped 1/2 cup
    1 clove garlic, minced 1
    2 can diced tomatoes with juice 2
    1 can kidney beans, undrained 1
    250 ml water 1 cup
    170 g tomato paste 6 oz
    20 ml chili powder 4 tsp
    5 ml salt 1 tsp
    5 ml sugar 1 tsp

    Recipe



    Heat non-stick dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add chicken, onion, pepper and garlic; cook, stirring until meat is browned. Add tomatoes with juice, beans, water, tomato paste, chili powder, salt and sugar. Stir well. Reduce heat to low, simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally for about 30 minutes.
    Serves 6
