    # 1 bag soy crumbles
    # 1 can black beans
    # 3 cans diced tomatoes
    # 1 large onion, chopped
    # 5 garlic cloves, minced
    # 2 tablespoon chili powder
    # Any other seasonings you care for!

    Recipe



    Dump everything except the soy crumbles in a big pot. If you like your chili a bit more watery, add 1/2 cup of the old water. Heat at medium until onion is reasonably transparent and mixture is nice and bubbly. Add soy crumbles and heat through. Serve w/ tofu shreds. TIP: I occasionally add one vegetarian bullion cube in at the beginning, and sometimes I sprinkle in a little Italian herb seasoning. I made this one up, so things vary...depends on how I feel. The kids are convinced this is "real" chili. They just don't know how desperate I am to convert them to a veggie diet, and how sneaky I can be! :)
