List of Ingredients
# 5 lbs. Flank Steak, 1 inch cubed
# 2 yellow onions. small diced
# 4 cloves Garlic, chopped
# 1 Habanero Pepper, minced
# 4 Cups Cooked Black Beans
# 1 10 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
# 2 Cups Jack Daniels
# 1 Tbsp. Cumin
# 1 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper
# 1 tsp. Curry Powder
# 1 Tbsp. Mint1 Tbsp. Basil
# 1 Tbsp. Cilantro
# 1 Stalk Lemon Grass
# ½ Cup Canola OilRecipe
Heat oil in saucepan until very hot. Add Flank Steak and quickly brown (without burning). Add onions, garlic and Habanero pepper. Cook until onions are translucent.
Deglaze with Jack Daniels and add cumin, crushed red pepper and curry powder. Reduce Jack Daniels by half.
Add tomatoes, black beans and lemon grass. Cook for 1½ hours covered on medium heat.
Before serving, add mint, basil and cilantro to keep fresh. Reserve some cilantro leaves for garnish
