    2 1/2 to 3 lb. lean hamburger
    2 lg. onions, chopped
    1 tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. salt
    6 to 8 shakes of black pepper
    2 tbsp. soy sauce
    2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tbsp. chili powder
    2 cans red kidney beans
    1 (32 oz.) bottle catsup

    Recipe



    Saute onions in oil in medium heat until transparent. Add hamburg; brown well, then add next 5 ingredients. Continue cooking to blend flavors; then add beans. Rinse bean cans with 1/2 can water and add to meat mixture. When it starts to cooking again, add entire bottle of catsup. Rinse bottle with a small amount of water and add to chili. Simmer about 15 to 20 minutes or until it comes to a gentle boil.

    Optional: Dice 5 medium potatoes and cook in separate pot until done and add to chili.

    Fire Alarm Alert: Add 2 tablespoons crushed red hot pepper if you like real hot stuff. Leftovers freeze wel
