    List of Ingredients




    3 pounds ground beef
    1 pound mild pork sausage
    3 yellow onions
    1 heaping tablespoon roasted garlic
    2 1-pound cans kidney beans
    2 1-pound cans black beans
    2 1-pound cans red beans
    2 teaspoons chili powder, or to taste
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
    1 small jalapeno pepper, diced
    1 small Anaheim pepper, diced
    Spicy V8 juice
    2 green bell peppers, diced
    1 red bell pepper, diced
    2 small tomatoes, diced

    Recipe



    Combine beef and sausage in a large pot over medium heat. Chop 1 onion and the garlic and add to the meat. Brown meat well and put meat and onion in a slow cooker.

    Add beans, spices, jalapeno and Anaheim pepper and enough V8 to make it soupy. Turn the heat to low and cook 12 hours, adding V8 as you think necessary to get the consistency you want. Mince the remaining onions, green peppers, red pepper and tomatoes and add them to the chili 5 minutes before serving.

    Serves 20.
