    Brian Lyman/Ted’s Montana Grill

    List of Ingredients




    2 lbs fresh ground bison
    1/4 c vegetable oil
    2 c diced onion
    1 T fresh garlic, chopped fine
    1 qt water
    3 beef bouillon cubes
    1 c tomato paste
    1 ½ t salt
    1 t oregano leaves
    ½ t cayenne pepper
    1 ½ t sugar
    1 ½ t cumin, ground
    3 T chili powder
    1 c stewed tomatoes
    1 c ranch style beans

    Recipe



    Heat oil and brown meat, breaking up any large chunks. Drain off excess fat. Add onion and garlic. Saute until soft. Add water, bouillon cubes, and tomato paste. Bring to a boil. Add seasonings and simmer for 10 minutes. Add beans and stewed tomatoes. Cook for one additional minute.
