    List of Ingredients




    ground turkey 1 lb. 500 g
    chopped onion 10 oz. 300 g
    minced ginger & minced garlic 2 tbsp. (each) 25 mL (each)
    degreased turkey stock 11/2 cups 375 mL
    soya sauce 1/2 cup 125 mL
    ketchup 1/4 cup 50 mL
    hot pepper flakes 3/4 - 1 tsp. 4-5 mL
    cooked black turtle beans, drained 12 oz. 375 g
    coarsely chopped sweet peppers (red, green or yellow) 8 oz. 250 g


    Recipe



    In a large skillet or wok over medium heat cook turkey, onions, garlic, and ginger, stirring constantly to break up meat, until meat is no longer pink. Add turkey stock, soya sauce, ketchup, hot pepper flakes and beans. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add peppers and cook until heated through. Serve in bowls.
    YIELD: 4 - 11/2 cup (375 mL) servings.
