    Hole-In-One-Eggs

    Source of Recipe

    the web

    List of Ingredients

    4 eggs
    2 tablespoons heavy cream
    2 slices sourdough bread
Fruit to garnish: kiwi, strawberry, banana
    1/4 stick butter
    Maple syrup
    Bacon or sausage link

    Recipe

Cut two 1/2-inch slices of sourdough bread. A whole round loaf works better,
since when it's sliced, it looks like a putting green from an aerial view.

Take a small glass and cut a 2-inch hole in the center of each slice.

Whisk 2 eggs and the cream in large bowl and soak bread slices for 10
    minutes both sides.

Heat butter in large skillet. When melted, reduce heat to medium and place
    both slices in butter.

Cook until bottom side is golden brown, then flip slice and reduce heat to
    medium low.

Carefully break the remaining two eggs (one each) into the hole in the
center of each slice. Try not to break the yoke.

Cover skillet and cook slowly for 8 minutes until egg in center is cooked
    and domed.

Arrange on plate with fruit garnish, drizzle with maple syrup and add two
strips of bacon or sausage links.
