    Guam Beek or Pork Adobo

    List of Ingredients




    2-3 lbs. beef or pork
    1/4 cup cider vinegar
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    2-3 cloves crushed garlic
    1 medium onion chopped
    3 tablespoons oil
    1 tablespoon salt
    1/4 cup water
    4 tablespoons soy sauce


    Recipe



    Wipe meat and make slits on it, inserting crushed garlic or small peices of garlic into it. Sautee meal until brown on all sides with additional garlic and chopped onions. Add vinegar, water and the rest of the ingredients.


    Simmer on medium heat until the meat is tender. Depending on how tart the liquid is, you can make a gravy by adding 4 tablespoons of flour to a cup of milk or until thickened. Serve with hot white rice
