    Tangra Masala Chili Chicken

    Tangra Masala, ELMHURST QUEENS

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 yellow onion (sliced)
    5 fresh green chilis (chopped)
    1 tbs ginger
    4 gloves garlic (chopped)
    1/2 cup corn starch
    3 eggs (beaten)
    1 lb dark meat chicken (remove bones)
    2 tbs soy sauce
    1 pinch msg
    1/4 cup chinese cooking wine
    salt, pepper
    corn oil


    Recipe



    Salt and pepper chicken.
    Mix eggs with cornstarch - add chicken. Let sit for several hours
    Then deep fry chicken or just saute in hot corn oil. Remove from pan, drain pan.
    In same pan, add heat more oil, add onions, garlic, chilis, msg.
    After a minute add soy sauce, chinese cooking wine.
    Reduce, then add chicken for another minute or so.
    Serves 2.
