    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. Phillips Crab Meat
    1 Tbsp. hondashi flakes
    2 Tbsp. mirin (rice wine)
    3 Tbsp. sake
    3 Tbsp. soybean oil
    to taste kosher salt
    1 package spring roll wrappers
    2 cups Chinese cabbage, shredded
    2 Tbsp. garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. ginger, minced
    2 bunches scallions, sliced
    1/2 cup carrot, shredded
    1 medium habanero pepper, minced
    3 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
    to taste toasted nori (yakinori), julienned

    Recipe



    1. Heat soybean oil until smoking hot in a large skillet. Flash cook garlic, ginger, scallions, cabbage, and carrot.

    2. Add habanero, sesame seeds, toasted nori, and hondashi flakes.

    3. Deglaze pan with sake and mirin. Cook until thickened.

    4. Add crab meat.

    5. Season to taste with salt.

    6. Once mixture has cooled, roll up in the spring roll wrappers.

    7. Deep fry until golden brown.

    Serves 10.

    Serve with wasabi cream sauce (mix wasabi paste with sour cream and light cream to taste).
