    4 8oz. Bison sirloin steaks

    Asian Marinade:
    1 C plum sauce
    1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
    1 C sake (Japanese rice wine)
    4 Tbsp. Ginger, minced (or 1 Tbsp. powder.
    4 Tbsp. Garlic, minced (or 1 Tbsp. Powder)
    1 tsp. Chinese five spice
    2 Tbsp. Fresh cilantro, chopped
    2 Tbsp. Sweet onion, diced
    1 tsp. Red chili paste (or 5 drops Tabasco sauce)
    ¼ C brown sugar

    Recipe



    Asian Marinade:
    In a blender or food processor, blend all ingredients. Reserve 1 cup of marinade for basting and for serving. Place bison sirloin in marinade for approximately 2 hours, if not totally submerged it is important to turn the sirloin over at the one hour point. Grill for approximately 4 minutes on each side or broil for approximately 8-10 minutes. In either case, you want to cook it until it reaches medium rare or an internal temperature of 125°.

    Use the reserved marinade to baste th ebison as you cook it. To serve, drizzle the marinade over the steak. This is a great recipe to either grill outdoors or broil in your oven.
