    1 1/2 pound venison loin steak
    Cooking Sauce:
    1/2 cup butter or olive oil
    1 teaspoon minced garlic or 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1 tablespoon minced onion
    2 tablespoons spicy mustard
    1/4 cup soy sauce, regular or light

    After heating butter or olive oil add remaining sauce ingredients. Pour half the sauce in glass baking dish and add venison; Pour other half of sauce over loin. Now bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes to medium rare. Add steak to serving plater and cover with delicious gravy
