Thanksgiving Casserole

2 cups sour cream
1 cup turkey gravy
1 1/2 teaspoons celery salt
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
16 ounces medium egg noodles, cooked
1 1/2 cups cooked cubed turkey
1 cup sliced mushrooms
Recipe
Combine sour cream, gravy, seasonings in a Dutch oven; heat thoroughly without boiling. Fold in noodles, turkey and mushrooms; pour mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Bake, covered at 350 degrees until hot and bubbly, 35 to 45 minutes. Makes 6 servings. By Suzanne Whitaker. Recipe from Paula Smith. Source: The Oak Ridger 11-26-03. Lynn's notes: I omitted the celery salt, used an 8 ounce package of mushrooms and added a couple of handfuls of frozen peas to the pasta toward the end of the cooking time. I put this in a 9 x 13" baking dish. Great recipe to use up leftovers.
