List of Ingredients
Large (burrito-size) fat-free tortillas
Small, sharp scissors or sharp garnishing knife
1-hole paper punch
1½ cups confectioners' sugar
4 tablespoons warm water
Edible markers
Clean pastry brush
Strings from Twizzlers Pull-n-PeelRecipe
Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Place mask template on a folded piece of paper, placing dotted line on fold. Cut out and unfold mask-shape pattern. Working with 1 tortilla at a time (keep others covered to prevent drying out), fold tortilla in half. Holding pattern on tortilla, cut out mask with scissors — each tortilla makes two masks. That's the official method. I was able to get three from each tortilla. I stacked three tortillas (flat, not folded), cutting through them all at once with a garnishing knife. Cut out eye holes; use 1-hole punch to make holes for strings. Place on ungreased baking sheet, and bake 8 to 9 minutes, turning once, or until crisp and very lightly golden. Cool. Beat confectioners' sugar and water until smooth and opaque. Add more confectioners' sugar if necessary, but glaze should be thin. Use pastry brush to apply a thin coating of glaze on front of masks; let dry completely, about 30 minutes. Decorate as desired, using edible markers — use your imagination and have fun with it. Knot ends of Twizzlers, and insert through holes in mask.
