11/2 cups olive oil
1/2 cup fresh garlic, chopped
3 pounds whole tomatoes, peeled and chopped
3/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Kosher salt and coarse black pepper to taste
Recipe
In a saucepan, heat olive oil and add garlic.
Place tomatoes in a bowl. Crush tomatoes into small chunks by hand. Add olive oil, garlic, basil, salt and black pepper and stir well.
Heat needed amount and serve over angel hair pasta. Yields 6 servings.
