    5 pounds leg of lamb
    1/3 cup cooking oil
    1/2 cup vinegar
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 tsp celery salt
    1 tsp garlic salt
    1 tsp basil
    1 tablespoon fresh parsley
    1 tablespoon rosemary, crushed
    1 bay leaf

    Recipe



    Cut meat into cubes, trimming off all fat. Coat with cooking oil and add remaining ingredients, mixing very well. Marinate in refrigerator for 3 days in a tightly covered container. Mix each day.

    Cook together and sprinkle over lamb when serving:
    1/2 cup vinegar
    1/2 cup oil
    1/8 tsp red pepper
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup tomato juice (optional)
    1/8 tsp garlic salt
    salt
    pepper
    pinch of chopped mint

    Servings: 8
