    1 pound steak, preferably porterhouse
    1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
    1 tablespoon olive Oil
    2 tablespoons Montreal Steak Seasoning
    2 tablespoons rosemary, preferably fresh
    1 tablespoon thyme, preferably fresh
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tablespoon red wine, full body and aromatic

    Recipe



    Step 1. (Optional) Tenderize the porterhouse steak and place in bowl or pan that just fits the steak.
    Step 2. Marinade: Chop or mince the garlic. In a mixing bowl whisk garlic, olive oil, worcestershire sauce, and red wine.
    Step 3. Pour marinade over steak and allow to marinate 15-30 minutes in the refrigerator, but no longer (any longer and the acids in the marinade will start cooking the meat).
    Step 4. Chop and bruise the thyme and rosemary so that the aromatic oils are released from the herbs.
    Step 5. Remove the steak from marinade and rub it with the olive oil. Spread the thyme and rosemary on both sides of the steak.
    Step 6. Generously sprinkle and pat the Montreal Steak Seasoning on both sides of the steak.
    Step 7. Turn the grill to HIGH...very HIGH. Allow the grill to heat up.
    Step 8. Sear the meat so that the juices lock inside the steak. 2 or 2 1/2 minutes on each side. This will produce a medium rare-to-medium steak.
    Step 9. Bon appetit.

    Serves 1.
