    Soprano's Meatballs

    Source of Recipe

    Scott Rego, Sixers Equipment Manager

    List of Ingredients

    # 1 1/2- 2 lbs. of ground meat, mixed with veal and pork
    # dash of salt and pepper
    # 3 eggs
    # 2 cups of italian style bread crumbs
    # 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
    # pinch of grated parmesan cheese

    Recipe

    1. Put the meat in a bowl and on top of the meat add salt, pepper, 3 eggs (add another egg, if necessary), italian style bread crumbs and grated parmesan cheese.
    2. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste, but you can also add minced garlic for extra spice
    3. Mix the meat and ingredients together until nothing in the bowl can be seen but the meat
    4. A tip: try to flatten any clumps of cheese and bread crumbs with your fingers.
    5. Now roll the meatballs up as big or small as you wish.
    6. Before you fry the meatballs brown some onion and garlic in a pan for flavor. For the family, I usually take out the browned onion and garlic and add it to my gravy.
    7. Add oil to the frying pan and fry the meatballs until done.
    8. When the meatballs are done, I transfer them from the pan to the pot of gravy where they sit in the gravy until the gravy is done. The meat soaks up some gravy and also adds flavor to the pot as well.
    9. Now you are ready for meatballs, Soprano Style
