    Southern Fried Chicken Burger

    1, 1/4 lb. Ground Chicken
    1 medium Egg White
    3 Tbsp. Buttermilk
    1 Small Clove Garlic, minced
    1 Tsp. Salt
    1 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
    1 1/2 Cups Dry Bread Crumbs
    1 Cup Oil

    Recipe



    Wisk together Egg White, Buttermilk, Garlic, Salt and Pepper.

    Add this mixture and 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs to Chicken. Combine gently but thoroughly.

    Form Chicken Mixture into 4 five-ounce patties, 1 inch thick.

    Cover Patties with Plastic Wrap and Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

    Heal Oil in a large non Stick Pan over medium high heat.

    Lightly coat the patties with the remaining 1 cup bread crumbs.

    When oil is hot, cook 2 of the patties at a time for 1 minute per side.

    Place burgers on a baking sheet in the hot oven for 12-14 minutes.

    Serve on Burger Buns with Lettuce, Tomato and Corn Relish.
