    Winner 1992 Pork Producer's "Taste of Elegance"

    List of Ingredients




    1 T. Flour
    1 T. Thyme
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 lb. peeled pork tenderloins, cut into 1oz medallions - silver skin removed
    2 lb homestyle egg noodles (precooked)
    4 T. butter
    1 T. Basil leaves
    1/2 tsp Kitchen Bouquet
    1/2 tsp minced garlic
    1 pint heavy cream

    Recipe



    Precook pork medallions in a large sauce pan and remove.
    Add butter and garlic (minced) to pork drippings.
    Simmer for 1 minute.
    Add flour and blend well.
    Add all remaining ingredients and cook until reduced by ¼ volume.
    Place 6 oz, precooked egg noodles on a large plate, top noodles with 5 precooked medallions slightly overlapping each other.
    Top all with ¼ cup herb sauce.
    Garnish and serve.

    Makes 5 servings
