    List of Ingredients




    4 small Peeled, quartered onions
    2 ribs Celery, trimmed and sliced
    1 Bell pepper seeded and cut into 1-inch cubes (preferably red)
    1 cup Turkey broth, fat skimmed
    1-2 tsp Curry powder (or to taste)
    1/4 tsp Ground cinnamon or apple pie spice
    1 cup Fresh mushrooms, sliced
    3/4 cup Skim milk
    2 Tbsp Flour
    1 cup Turkey pastrami, diced

    Recipe



    Combine vegetables with broth, curry powder, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Cover and simmer just until celery is tender-crisp (about 6 minutes). Stir in mushrooms and simmer, uncovered, 1 minute.
    Combine milk and flour in covered jar; shake until blended. Stir into simmering pot. Cook, stirring, until sauce is thick. Stir in pastrami and heat through. (Serve sprinkled with peanuts or raisins, if desired)
    Makes 2 servings
