    1 tbsp Oil
    1/2 Large Onion, thinly sliced

    1/2 Large Onion, finely chopped

    2 tbsp Soy Sauce

    6 Chicken Thighs, skinned and boned
    1 tbsp Black Treacle or Dark Molasses

    Recipe



    1. Cut the chicken into bite size pieces. Set aside.



    2. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan, add the chopped onions and sauté until they just begin to colour.



    3. Add 1 tablespoon of the Soy sauce, mix well then add the chicken and mix to coat.



    4. Add the remaining soy sauce, molasses and sliced onion, stir well then cover and cook over a medium/high heat so it's bubbling for about 15 minutes, stirring from time to time, or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve with rice.

    Serves 4.
