3 tbsp oil
4 green cardamom pods
2 tsp cumin seeds
2 onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, crushed
4 chicken breasts, cut in half
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp seasalt
1 tsp garam masala
6 tbsp water
10 tomatoes, chopped coarsely
2 tbsp chopped coriander
Recipe
Heat the oil in a pre heated wok, add the cardamom pods and cumin seeds and fry until the seeds pop.
Stir in the onions and garlic and fry until golden brown. Add the chicken and stir fry for 5-6 minutes.
Stir in the chilli powder, seasalt, garam masala, water and tomatoes. Bring to the boil, then turn the heat down and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until cooked.
Stir in the coriander and serve.
Serves 4.
