    List of Ingredients

    On the grill
    1 Red pepper
    1 Red Onion
    1 Filet Mignon Steak

    Steak Rub (For one Steak)
    1/2 Teaspoon basil
    1/2 Teaspoon oregano
    1/2 Teaspoon pepper
    1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 Teaspoon salt

    Salad stuff
    1 Romaign lettuce
    4-5 Pieces of bacon

    Dressing
    1/2 Cup water
1/2 Cup vinegar, choose whatever type you like e.g., wine, malt, balsamic, I prefer Tarragon flavoured.
    2 Tablespoons sugar
    1 Tablespoon flour
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe

    1. Chop onion into big thick rings and pepper into thin strips
    2. Mix rub ingredients in a bowl and roll steak in it until it is covered
    3. Place ingredients on grill and cook until it reaches how you prefer. The steak is best done medium rare (e.g., a little pink in the middle).
    4. Chop up the lettuce and place it on a big plate.
    5. Grill/broil some bacon in the oven until it is super crispy. Make sure there is foil under it to catch the drippings.
    6. Take crispy bacon out and set on paper to get rid of fat.
    7. Pour bacon drippings into small saucepan for dressing.
    8. Add flour to drippings and stir on lowish heat.
    9. Add water, vinegar, sugar, slat and pepper and continue to stir.
    10. Once steak is ready slice steak into very long thin strips, so it almost looks like smoked salmon strips, with crust on the outside.
    11. Lay onions and peppers and strips of steak on lettuce. Pour over dressing and the crumble the bacon on top.
