    Daniel's Broiler Steak Sandwich

    List of Ingredients




    1 1/2 lbs. steak
    2 Tbl. olive oil
    2 Tbl. seasoning salt
    2 large sweet onions
    4 6" each pieces of Rustic style bread
    1/2 cup garlic butter




    Recipe



    Pound the pieces of steak until 1/2" thick. Chef Hillyer recommends using a high quality cut of beef, like filet mignon or top sirloin. Brush the steak with olive oil and coat with seasoning salt on both sides.

    Place on a hot grill. Grill at least 3-4 minutes per side to desired temperature. Slice onions, coat with olive oil and seasoning salt. Grill until light brown.

    Spread bread with garlic butter. Toast on grill. Serve steak and onions on grilled bread. Serves 4.
