    List of Ingredients




    1 pound ground beef
    1/4 cup onion, chopped
    1/4 cup green pepper, chopped
    1 teaspoon cumin
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    1 can El Paso refried beans
    1 and 1/4 cups El Paso taco sauce
    6 rolls, sliced in half
    2 red onions, sliced thin

    Recipe



    In a large skillet set over medium heat, sauté the ground beef until no pink color is left.

    Add the onion and pepper, and continue to sauté for 4 to 5 minutes. Add cumin and chili powder, cook for 1 minute. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.

    In a saucepan, heat the refried beans and taco sauce, set aside. To assemble the sandwiches, spread one half of each roll with the refried bean mixture, then add the ground meat mixture, and top with the sliced onion.

    Serves 6.
