French bread, unsliced
1 Tablespoon prepared mustard
8 slices Swiss cheese
1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
1/2 cup margarine, softened
3 slices uncooked bacon, cut into small pieces, opt.
1/4 cup chopped onions
Recipe
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Slice bread into 1-inch slices, cutting to but not through bottom of loaf. Place loaf on sheet of heavy-duty foil. Cut cheese into triangles and place between bread slices.
In small bowl, combine margarine, onions, mustard and poppy seeds. Spread over top of bread. Sprinkle with chopped bacon. Bring foil up around sides, but not over the top. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until bacon is cooked and cheese is melted.
