    List of Ingredients




    2 quarts beef broth (homemade or purchased)
    1 pound beef stew meat
    1 cup diced fresh tomato
    1 cup diced celery
    1 cup diced onion
    1 cup diced carrots
    1 cup peeled and diced potatoes
    ¼ teaspoon white pepper
    1 cup marinara sauce
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, or to taste

    Recipe



    In medium saucepan, heat broth.

    Add beef, bring to a simmer and cook uncovered 20 to 30 minutes.

    Add vegetables and white pepper, and simmer about 10 minutes.

    Add marinara sauce and Worcestershire sauce.

    Cover and simmer over medium-low heat 1 hour or until beef is tender.

    Makes 8 side-dish servings.
