    List of Ingredients




    ¾ c finely chopped onion
    4 T butter
    2 c fresh or canned pumpkin puree
    5-6 c homemade or canned chicken stock
    1 c cooked, diced chicken
    2 c whipping cream
    Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
    Pinch of nutmeg

    Recipe



    Sauté onion in butter until golden. Add the pumpkin, diced chicken and the stock; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the cream and seasonings and stir just until heated. Serve immediately. Serves 8.
