List of Ingredients
2 lbs. stew meat (cubed) Follow Safe Food Handling Instructions
1/2 cup plain white flour
1 tsp. plain or iodized salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 lb. fresh hickory smoked bacon (cut into bite size pieces)
1 package of your favorite onion soup mix
3 cups fresh or spring water
1 bottle BLOODY BOLD
1 tsp. granulated white sugar
1 cup barley
1 16 oz. package of frozen mixed soup vegetables
1/2 package of a 16 oz. pkg. frozen cut corn
1 yellow or red onion (chopped)
Recipe
Make a blended mixture of flour, salt and mustard. Coat the stew meat with the flour mixture. Fry bacon in large Dutch oven. Remove bacon, then brown stew meat in the tasty bacon drippings. Add soup mix and water. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add the BLOODY BOLD, sugar, barley, bacon pieces, frozen vegetables, corn and chopped onion. Simmer for another 45 minutes. Need more liquid...? Add more BLOODY BOLD...! Serve with your favorite bread and beverage. Good Eating...!
