    Makes 4 Servings

    List of Ingredients




    16 oz. Shredded potatoes (frozen)
    4 oz. Clarified butter (peanut oil can be used as substitute)
    1 tsp. Seasoned salt
    3/4 oz. All-purpose flour
    Pinch of nutmeg

    Recipe



    1. Defrost shredded potatoes.
    2. Pat away excess water from potatoes with a paper towel.
    3. Season potatoes with salt, flour and nutmeg, mix well.
    4. Heat butter in a 7-inch non-stick sauté pan on medium-heat until the butter is almost smoking.
    5. Add potato mixture to pan. Flatten mixture along bottom of pan with a rubber spatula.
    6. Saute hash browns for 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
    7. Remove hash browns from pan and place over a baking rack over paper towels to catch any excess oil.
