    List of Ingredients




    3 lbs turnips, peeled and diced
    3 ribs celery, diced
    1 white onion, diced
    2 stalks leeks, diced
    3 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 bay leaf
    salt, pepper and honey to taste
    6 cups water
    2 cups heavy cream
    3 tbs butter

    Recipe



    In a large pot, saute the onions, leeks, celery and garlic in the butter. Cook over medium heat until soft and translucent (do not brown the vegetables). Add the turnips, water and bay leaf and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a simer and cook for one hour. Add the cream and bring back to a boil. remove th soup from heat. Fill a blender to the half-way point and puree until smooth. Repeat until the entire soup is pureed. Season with salt, pepper and honey. Enjoy!
