    A delightful combination of nine fresh vegetables lightly stir-fried in a light white sauce.

    List of Ingredients




    1 stalk broccoli, chopped
    3 oz. bamboo shoots
    ½ small green cabbage,shredded
    4 oz. baby corn
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 tsp. garlic, minced
    1½ cups mushrooms, sliced
    2 tsp. cooking wine
    3 oz. water chestnuts
    1 cup carrots, chopped
    2 Tbs. cornstarch + 2 Tbs. water, mixed well

    White Sauce:
    1¾ cups water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chicken powder
    pinch pepper

    Recipe



    1. Mix ingredients of white sauce in a bowl and set aside.
    2. Blanch all vegetables in boiling water for 30 seconds. Drain and set aside.
    3. Add vegetable oil into a wok or sauté pan, and heat over medium-high heat for 20 seconds.
    4. Place garlic into the wok or pan and stir-fry for 5 to 10 seconds, but do not allow to brown.
    5. Add cooking wine and white sauce. Then slowly stir in cornstarch/water mixture.
    6. Stir until the sauce boils and/or is set to desired consistency.
    7. Add all vegetables into the wok or pan and mix well and cook until desired texture.
