    2 pints fresh Brussels Sprouts
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 T. butter
    1 T. flour
    1 T. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    1 T. chopped fresh parsley

    Recipe



    Wash and trim sprouts, cutting larger ones in half. Cook covered in a small amount of boiling salted water for 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain well.

    In another pan, cook onion in butter until tender, but not browned. Stir in dry ingredients till blended. Stir in milk. Cook and stir until thickened; remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Add sprouts, stirring gently to combine. Reheat, but do not boil.

    Makes 6-plus servings
