    Banana Sour Cream Walnut Bread

    2/3 cup butter or margarine
    1 1/3 cups of sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 cups mashed banana
    1/2 cup sour cream
    2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease and flour on bottom only a 9x 5 loaf pan.

    - Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    - Beat in eggs and mashed banana until well blended.
    - Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
    - Add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture, stirring just to blend.
    - Stir in walnuts.
    - Bake for one hour and 15 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    - Let rest in pan for 20 minutes, remove from pan and cool thoroughly.
    - Wrap in plastic and store in refrigerator
