    3/4 cup milk
    1/2 cup butter
    2 large eggs

    2 tablespoons butter, melted
    1/2 cup finely chopped dates
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    2 tablespoons sugar

    Recipe

You will need a counter top mixer for this bread, it is difficult to mix by hand or with a small hand mixer. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and yeast. Mix well. Combine milk and butter in a small saucepan, heat on medium until very warm (120°F-130°F). Slowly add to dry ingredients while mixing; mix well. Add eggs and beat dough 2 minutes; dough will be soft. Cover and let rise until doubled in bulk. Punch down and knead 4-5 times on well floured surface. Roll into approximately 15x9 in. rectangle. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with remaining filing ingredients. Roll from long width, pinch seams together. Grease or spray with a vegetable oil pan spray 7 in. Angel Food Pan. Coil bread roll around top of pan. With scissors, snip 4-5 slashes on top. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 30-40 minutes until brown and hollow sounding when tapped. Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan. Serve warm or at room temperature. To freeze, let cool completely, wrap airtight.

YIELD: Makes one 7 in. bread.
