    Strawberry-Peanut Drop Scones

    2 cups self-rising flour


    • 1 cup fresh ripe strawberries, washed, hulled and sliced


    • 2 large eggs


    • 1/2 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter


    • 1/2 cup milk


    • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons sugar


    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


    • 1/8 teaspoon salt

    Recipe



    Combine the ingredients in the bowl of a food processor, fitted with the metal blade, and process until it is a smooth batter.


    • Lightly spray a skillet or griddle with Crisco® Cooking Spray and heat over medium heat.


    • Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the cooking surface, spacing well apart.


    • Cook until the bottom is golden and bubbly.


    • Turn the scones over and cook about 1 minute more. Keep warm.


    • Serve with sliced fresh strawberries, whipped cream or powdered sugar.


    • Makes 4 to 6 servings.
