List of Ingredients
1 (12-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup margarine or butter
2 cups biscuit baking mix
1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup chopped candied cherries
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350º.
In large saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup chips with margarine; remove from heat.
Add biscuit mix, Eagle Brand®, egg and extract. Stir in remaining chips and cherries. Turn into well-greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Top with almonds.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool. Cut into bars. Store tightly covered at room temperature.
