Coffee Toffee Bars

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
1 cup oats
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup unsifted flour
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 tablespoon coffee-flavored liqueur or 2 teaspoons instant coffee
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (6-ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine 6 tablespoon margarine, oats, sugar, flour, nuts and baking soda. Press firmly on bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking pan; bake 10 to 15 minutes or utnil lightly browned.
Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, combine remaining 2 tablespoons margarine, Eagle Brand, liqueur and vanilla.
Over medium heat, cook and stir until mixture thickens, about 15 minutes. Pour over crust; bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven; immediately sprinkle chips on top. Let stand 1 minute; spread while warm. Cool thoroughly. Cut into bars. Garnish as desired. Store covered at room temperature
