    List of Ingredients




    1 pkg (500 g) chocolate cake mix
    1 pkg (14 oz/397 g) caramels, unwrapped
    1/2 cup (125 mL) butter
    1 can (300 mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand®
    2 cups (500 mL) coarsely chopped toasted pecans

    Recipe



    1. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour half of the batter into a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch (3.5 L) pan. Bake at 350ºF (180ºC) for 15 min or until centre is set.
    2. Meanwhile, melt caramels with butter and Eagle Brand; cook and stir until melted and smooth.
    3. Remove pan from oven. Spread caramel mixture over cake. Spread remaining batter over caramel layer.
    4. Top with nuts.
    5. Return to oven and bake 35-40 min longer. Cool.
