    Clabber Girl Baking Powder

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup softened butter or margarine
    1/2 cup shortening
    3 cups sugar
    6 eggs
    3 cups all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons Clabber Girl Baking Powder
    1 cup egg nog
    1 cup flaked coconut
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1/2 teaspoon coconut extract

    Grease and flour bottom of a 10 inch tube pan.
    In a large bowl, cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Blend in with creamed mixture. Stir in coconut and flavorings.

    Pour batter into 10 inch tube pan and bake at 325 degrees F. for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool in cake pan for 10 minutes; remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
