    Carol's Homemade Ginger Biscuits

    125g butter
    1 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons golden syrup
    1 egg, beaten
    2 cups self-raising flour
    3 tablespoons grated preserved ginger

    Recipe



    Melt butter, take off heat and add sugar and golden syrup. Allow to cool then add beaten egg and mix well.

    Stir through flour and ginger. Roll into walnut sized balls and place onto 'Glad-bake'.

    Bake in moderate oven for 12-15 minutes.

    Cool on tray.
