    125g butter
    1 cup brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 egg white
    1 cup plain flour
    375g chocolate buttons, melted
    1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
    1/4 cup of chopped pistachio nuts
    splash of vanilla essence
    Chocolate Fudge Sauce
    200g dark cooking chocolate, broken into pieces
    3/4 cup cream

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar in an electric mixer until pale and creamy. Add whole eggs, egg whites and melted chocolate and whisk until incorporated. Sift flour, and fold through mixture along with the crushed nuts and vanilla essence.
    Brush a 30cm-20cm baking try with melted butter and dust with flour. Pour mix in and bake in a preheated 160°C oven for 20 minutes.
    Place fudge in the refrigerator until firm and set.
    Slice fudge cake into 10cm fingers and serve hot or cold with chocolate fudge sauce

    Chocolate Fudge Sauce: Place chocolate and cream in a microwave-safe bowl; cook 2 minutes on HIGH, stirring after 1 minute. Alternatively, melt together in a small saucepan.

    Serve warm.
