Holiday Pecan Balls

1/4 lb. (1/2 cup) margarine, softened at room temperature
2 Tbsp. plus 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup flour
3/4 cup crushed pecans
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Mix together the margarine, 2 Tbsp. confectioners' sugar, water, vanilla, flour, and crushed pecans. Flour your hands and roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
Bake until lightly brown, about 20 minutes. About 3 minutes after removing from the oven, roll the balls in the remaining confectioners' sugar.
Makes about 20 balls
