Butterscotch self-saucing pudding

List of Ingredients
1 cup (150g) self-raising flour
3/4 cup (165g) firmly packed brown sugar
30g Western Star Salt Reduced Butter
½ cup (125ml) milk
BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE
13/4 cups (430ml) water
100g Western Star Salt Reduced butter
3/4 cup (165g) firmly packed brown sugar
Recipe
Preheat oven to moderate. Grease a deep 2-litre (8-cup) shallow ovenproof dish.
Combine flour, sugar, Western Star Salt Reduced butter, and milk in a large bowl; mix well. Spread mixture into the prepared dish.
Make butterscotch sauce; pour over pudding mixture while still hot. Bake, uncovered, in moderate oven about 40 minutes. Serve immediately with vanilla ice-cream, if desired.
BUTTERSCOTCH SAUCE: Stir ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth and hot.
