    Pear and Apricot Oaty Crumble

    List of Ingredients




    300g plain flour
    75g margarine or butter
    50g caster sugar
    75g porridge oats
    500g ripe pears, peeled, cored and sliced
    411g can apricot halves
    Sainsbury's fresh custard or home made custard to serve ( optional)


    Recipe



    Place the flour in a bowl and rub in the margarine or butter. Stir in the sugar and oats.
    Preheat the oven to 190°C, 375°F, Gas Mark 5.
    Arrange the pear slices and apricot halves with half the juice , in an ovenproof dish. Spoon over the crumble mixture and bake in the preheated oven for 20 - 25 minutes until the crumble is golden . Delicious served hot or cold with custard or yogurt.
