Farmers' Market Pasta Salad

1 pkg (9 oz) refrigerated tricolor cheese tortellini
2 c trimmed sugar snap peas
2 Tbsp refrigerated pesto
1 c cherry tomatoes, halved
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
Fresh basil (optional
Recipe
1. Place tortellini in large pot of boiling water. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add sugar snap peas and cook 3 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.
2. Drain pasta and peas, and rinse with cold water. Place in large bowl and toss with pesto.
3. Gently fold in tomatoes and pepper. Garnish with basil if using.
